Elmwood Park

Picture
Meet up with a friend, or have a play date with your kids. You can find many fun activities to do at the Elmwood City Park. The tornado slide and the swings are a few of the great attractions in the park.

MoPac Trail

Picture
When the weather starts to get warm, it is the perfect time to get some fresh air. The MoPac Trail starts at 84th Street in Lincoln, goes through Elmwood, and ends near Wabash. It is a 21.67 miles long and composed of crushed limestone. It is a great place to go for a run, walk, or a bike ride. Plan an outing today.

Elmwood-Murdock Elementary Park

Picture
The residents of Elmwood have helped each other many times in the last 125 years. They value a good education and have supported our school. One recent example was when Oxbow Animal Health funded a new playground at the elementary school. Why not spend an afternoon at the park? The playground is an area where children can go to have fun, and parents know that they are safe. Everyone is welcomed.

Wildlife Safari Park

Picture
Make sure the car windows sparkle before embarking on this drive-through adventure. A road leads visitors through several different lands featuring Sandhill cranes, antelope, deer, and large buffalo herds. Although on display, most of the animals freely roam this corner of the county. While out of the car, be sure to check out the interactive nature exhibits and gift shop.
