The classic tale of Snow White is told once again. A young princess driven to the woods by her jealous stepmother finds a home with seven dwarves. However, the wicked queen continues to search the land and eliminate all beauty that surpasses her own. She tries to kill Snow White by sending her Huntsman, but the Huntsman cannot bear to hurt the little girl. She spies and sneaks, and eventually tricks Snow White into eating a poisoned apple that puts her into a deep sleep, broken only by true love's kiss. In the meantime, the Huntsman searches far and wide, and finds a Prince to break the spell.

August 24, 2013, 3-7pm
This year Redmond will be hosting their annual Great Day of Play on August 24th from 3pm-7pm. All ages are welcome; the event will take place at the Redmond City Hall Campus. Families that value health, fitness and active recreation will enjoy this event. Take part in the national movement to make America more active. Activities such as Kangoo Jumps, Spin Biking, Z-Ultimate martial arts, and Jazzercise are offered and taught. Additionally, a 3-on-3 youth basketball tournament will be held from 2pm-7pm. Kids ages 4-12 are encouraged to drop by and participate. During the same time, a 5K run/walk will be held on the Sammamish River Trail. Don't miss out on this opportunity to get up and play!
